Our dedicated, professional volunteers provide valuable administrative support so the IHF can continue supporting our international partners and the students that are involved with them, with a minimum of administrative overhead. This means more money can be channeled to our international partner organizations.
Finance and Administration volunteers ensure that the IHF is in good financial and legal standing. Barbara Morse and Paul McAnnaly-Linz maintain the IHF’s books, issue receipts to donors, answer inquiries related to donations or spending, respond to transfer and purchase requests for IHF projects, draft and file monthly and annual reports.

Graphic Design and Marketing is important for any organization, and we are thrilled to have Sarah Mawhorter on our team. She has helped design and produce the annual IHF catalog since 2006 and is committed to the IHF model of long-term partnerships with local groups. She also supports Just Apparel’s work in Santiago Atitlán, Guatemala by helping to develop their products, website, and marketing materials.

Monitoring and Evaluation is extremely important, since we are working with organizations in so many countries, each with their own set of values, expectations and operational paradigms. Kitt Karhos is working closely with the IHF board and other volunteers to establish a database of information that will help both the IHF and our international partners track processes and programs over time.

Legal Advice is always valuable, especially in the litigious world we live in. Adam Small reviews all our legal documents to assure we are in line with the letter and spirit of the laws that govern our operations.
