Jamie was elected to the Board of Directors in 2009 and is excited by the positive impact the IHF can have on lives around the world. He graduated with B.A. in American Studies and in History from Connecticut College in 2004 and with a J.D. from Cornell Law Schoolin 2008. In law school, Jamie served as Executive Editor of the Cornell Law Review, founded the Cornell Law Student Service Trips group to do public interest law work during school breaks, and served as Assistant Judicial Codes Counselor of Cornell University, representing community members in university adjudications. After law school, Jamie clerked for the Hon. Richard C. Wesley, U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit, and is currently working for the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy in Bogotá, Colombia. He has previously served on the Board of Trustees of Connecticut College (2004 – 2007), the Student Hurricane Network (2006), a national law student coalition formed in response to Hurricane Katrina, and the Education Committee of NextGen Rochester (2009), a young professional giving circle.
